Hello— I’m Theo!
I’m an animator and multimedia artist driven by my passion for the frame by frame. Gifted with an innate affinity for drawing and inspired by an excess of time on my hands after school, I started animating as a hobby when I was eleven years old. Over a decade later, that hobby has grown into a multicurated art practice that has taken him from Arkansas to New York City. Inspired by the work of the old masters, I aim to bring the abstract and magical to life with dimensionality, grace, and personality. I push what the typical animated pipeline can look like, utilizing digital animation, stop motion, and physical media in my work. As a recent graduate from the BFA Animation program at the School of Visual Arts, I’m continuing to sharpen his eye for motion and his draftsmanship. I hope to keep working with other like-minded artists who are driven to keep frame by frame animation innovative and alive far into the future.
